HANCOCK'S ASHES

Caroline and David's original Afternoon Play, HANCOCK'S ASHES, is based on a real event, when, in 1968, Willie Rushton brought home fellow comic Tony Hancock's ashes back to Britain from Australia. This drama imagines what might have happened behind the scenes. Catch it at 2.15pm on Thursday 30th October on Radio 4 and also available on BBC iPlayer. It stars Ewan Bailey as Willie Rushton, Richard Dillane as Brian Foster, Paul Heath as Danny the Deserter and Roslyn Hill as Stewardess. Produced by Marc Beeby.

Forthcoming CGI animated reboot of Hit Entertainment's BOB THE BUILDER has taken MIPCOM by storm. It's been picked up by broadcasters in US, UK and Germany who will all air the series from late 2015. Head Writer for Series 19 & 20 is James Mason and writing team stalwarts include Darren Jones and Lee Pressman.

Off the back of its successful debut UK run on Channel 5's Milkshake, pre-school series PIP AHOY! launched at MIPCOM this week striking deals with Cartoon Network and RTE in Ireland. Jimmy Hibbert scripted 11 episodes and has just completed work on an extended Christmas Special.
